Do you hire people from outside of Canada?

Yes. FillaRole is specifically designed to bridge the labor gap using both local and international talent


Do you have LIMA positions available?

FillaRole works with many employers who have active or pending Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIA).

Work Permits: We support various pathways, including the Francophone Mobility Program for French speakers outside of Quebec.

Transparency: FillaRole is a hiring platform, not a law firm. For dedicated immigration legal advice, we refer candidates to licensed consultants

Do I need experience, or do you provide training?

Each job opportunity has unique requirements and expectations. Carefully reviewing the job description is essential to understand the qualifications and responsibilities, helping you assess if the role aligns with your skills and career goals.

Is this a legitimate company?

Yes. FillaRole is a verified Canadian AI-powered hiring platform headquartered in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

  • We are a registered business with a physical office at Innovation Place (Saskatoon).
  • We do not charge job seekers a fee to apply for jobs on the platform

How Your Application Is Reviewed on FillaRole

Here’s what the journey looks like:

• Applied – Your application is in.
• Qualified (AI) – Our system checks how well your profile matches the job.
• Under Review – The employer is reviewing applications.
• Schedule Screening – You may be invited for a short screening.
• Screened – Screening is completed.
• Schedule Interview – Selected candidates move on to interviews.
• Interviewed – You’ve completed the interview.
• Job Offer Sent – An offer is made.
• Job Offer Accepted – The role is officially filled

Not everyone will go through every step, and timing can vary depending on the employer. Keeping your profile up to date always helps!

Applying for jobs in Canada but not getting responses? Here are a few possible reasons

Here are some common reasons employers may not be responding:


Your resume isn’t tailored for the Canadian market

Canadian employers expect a specific resume format. A generic or outdated resume may get filtered out before anyone sees it.


ATS filters may be rejecting your application

Many employers use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to scan resumes. If your resume is missing the right keywords from the job posting, it may never reach a recruiter.


Your location or work eligibility isn’t clear

Employers need to know if you’re already in Canada, have a valid work permit, or need sponsorship. If this isn’t clear, they may skip your application.


LMIA processing can slow things down

For jobs requiring an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment), employers often go through additional approval steps before moving candidates forward. This can make response times much longer than expected.


Your profile may be incomplete

Missing work history, certifications, or contact details can make employers move on quickly.


High competition means slower responses

Some jobs receive hundreds or even thousands of applications. Sometimes, no response simply means your application got buried in a crowded inbox.
